I seriously don't get the hate for this car. It's a four-door coupe like the A5, or the 6GC, no biggie. If you don't like it, don't buy one! It's as simple as that. And it's not like they are going to stop making 3 and 5-series for those who still live in the time of the Reagan administration.

Their GT line is for hatchbacks...

...and their GC line is for four-door coupes that trod on the feet of existing models.

Because it's not the only un-BMW-ish BMW, you got the X6, X4, the GT cars and the upcoming FWD things. Audi did all kinds of stuff, FWD sedans, the A2 and others. Is not the purist brand, BMW always claimed to be. If BMW really wants to enter mainstream, they should resurrect the Triumph brand, they own, and build mainstream cars.

Ok, so we'll have a sedan in 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 series. Great, we definitely needed more.
They can stop with this GC stuff. It has four doors, it's a sedan. It doesn't matter how long you leave the styling under the broiler.
